This weather is just absolutely BONKERS!!!  If it’s not raining, it’s blowing!!  Or Both!!!!

The albies are still here, so don’t let the holidays slow down your fishing time!  Fishing does slow down, but not due to lack of albies!  We’ve also started giant bluefin fishing!  There have been some caught this week, and it’s only Tuesday!!  If you believe that these big boys are right up your alley, call me!  We’ll set up a trip.  We’re fishing on a 56′ boat with lots of creature comforts like heat for those cold days!!  Just pack a lunch, warm clothes (layers) and you’ll be ready to go!!!

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!!  Now let’s gear up for some more fishing!!!

The albies are still here, along with huge schools of red drum!!  The trout are also running hard.  The water temp has dropped  significantly in the last couple of weeks, so the fishing should stay exciting!!  The only problem we’ve had is the weather - that Mother Nature thing again!  We’ve had some pretty rough days, and the next 2 aren’t looking so good either.  But things will calm back down again in a very few days.

We’re booking trips for the giant bluefin aboard a 56′ boat.  Great creature comforts - heat for one!!  Let me know if this might be something you want to do - we’ll be glad to book a trip!!

Let’s go fishing - bring your leftover turkey and dressing sandwich and a coke - w’ll go catch some fish!!!

WOW — 12 1/2 inches of rain in 40  consecutive hours!!!  That’s some serious weather!!  No damage, though, as far as I know.  Heard reports about water being up to the caretaker’s cabin over at Davis.  The harbor at the fishing center has been , well, couldn’t see the pilings by the main dock at high tide!! 

Now for fishing:  Still good.  Had a couple oif good friends brave (?) the weather today (winds NNW 20 -25) and travel over to the Hook.  According to Scott, “Gettin’ our asses handed to us, but we’re catchin’ albies!!”  I suppose the fish don’t care if it rains!  The weather should be improving over the weekend, so I’ll let you know how the fishing is over the next few days.
